To the William Paterson University Community
I hope all of you have come through this hurricane well, and for those of you dealing with power outages and flooding, we wish you the best of luck and speedy recovery.
First let me thank the University staff who worked through the weekend and continued cleaning up Sunday. Many of you worked long shifts and you have done an excellent job. While there is still more to do, we expect to open the campus on Monday as usual. We expect commuting to be difficult Monday morning but hope you will do the best possible.
Students should expect to move into the residence halls on Tuesday and Wednesday as planned. The University has a full contingent of residence assistants and support staff standing by and all the dining facilities will be open as scheduled.
We expect all offices will open as scheduled and that we will remain focused on starting the semester and classes as usual.
Thank you again for all your hard work and dedication. I hope you and your families are doing well.
