PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS CHAT
Most of us go day-to-day without meeting another person with psoriatic arthritis. Many have never even heard of PA before they are diagnosed! This is one of the reasons that the PA List and Webpage exist: to allow us to get together with other PA'ers from around the world.
But sometimes even email, a revolution 20 years ago, does not fill the bill. Many people find real-time communication to be fulfilling in a way that email simply can't be. We can talk person to person in small groups about any subject that comes to mind: medications, family life, working with arthritis, and yes, the weather. Currently only one chat scenario is offered by the group -- please see below. In addition, our new Listserv hoster, eGroups, offers us the chance to chat whenever we want. If you want to propose a time please send a message to the list.

The http://arthritis.about.com chat is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but specifically addresses issues of psoriatic arthritis the time noted above. The About.com Arthritis chat is open to everyone all the time, and people often gather nightly between about 8-10p Eastern.
Both the PsoriaticArthritis e-mail list and the webpage are run by and for PA sufferers, their families and friends. There is no medical authority associated with either the list or the homepage, and none is either claimed or implied.
