The Office of Sponsored Programs and the Faculty Senate Research Council invite faculty, librarians, professional staff, and students to participate in WPUNJ's annual recognition and celebration of accomplishments in teaching, research, scholarly or creative expression and service by our community of scholars. University Research and Scholarship Day 2004 will be an opportunity for participants to share with the public and their colleagues across the University the results of the labors that have been important to them. The day will provide participants with the opportunity to enter into cross-disciplinary conversations to describe, explore and challenge intellectual pursuits. Participation is open to all faculty, librarians, professional staff, and undergraduate and graduate students with a faculty sponsor.

Share Your Work

This is an excellent opportunity for recipients of ART, Research & Travel Incentive Awards, the Student Undergraduate Research Program and other support from WPUNJ, as well as grants or contracts from Federal, State or private funding agencies to share their work with the WPUNJ community.

New Structure and Format

The Structure and Format of University Research and Scholarship Day 2004 has been revised to focus greater attention on faculty and student activity within each College and the Library, to increase audience participation, and to expand participation by both undergraduate and graduate students. Built around a schedule based on class times, the use of college-based groups for the oral presentations, and an expanded poster session to involve more students these changes should increase audience interest in particular sessions and make it easier to plan individual or class/group attendance.
