Services Provided
by the OSP
Once a proposal is funded, the OSP provides
additional services. The successful fulfillment of a grant contract is
a cooperative, University-wide effort led by the Project Director or Principal
Investigator and supported by many people and offices. Two key areas of
cooperative effort concern are (a) the processing of the contract that
formalizes the relationship between the University and the funding agency(ies)
and (b) the reporting on grant funding activity. The Office of Sponsored
Programs (OSP) provides this support. Further details regarding these
services are found in the Grant Management Guidelines. The Grant Management
Guidelines includes such topics as contracts, reports, and correspondence
to funding agency(ies), document review and processing, official signatures,
responsibilities, and information access.
