John Battaglia, Jr. Special Appearance by John Battaglia, Jr.

John Battaglia, Jr. is the Founder and President of The Rockstar In You, a life coaching and image-building firm. As the imaging and marketing agent for numerous music, sports, and Hollywood celebrities, he’s represented Beyonce, Usher, Jessica Simpson, Brandy, Eve, and many other stars. John firmly believes that we each have the power within us to achieve our dreams and that people are held back mostly by themselves. He lives his personal credo of embracing one’s inner rockstar by never settling and following one’s true talents. He stands for everyone living the bold expression of the rockstar in themselves.

Programs

New incoming transfer students are offered a program to help with your transition to William Paterson. Meet faculty, staff and fellow students eager to clarify your concerns, address some typical transfer student questions and complete a variety of processes prior to your formal arrival in September.

The programs begin at 8:30am and depending on your scheduling needs may last until 3pm. The program includes:

  • Transitions to Life at William Paterson (both academic and social)
  • Meeting of your faculty and staff
  • Career Development and Advisement presentations
  • Resolving pending matters such as processing financial aid and payment plans as well as acquiring your student I.D.

It has been repeatedly noted by our transfer students that attending these programs helped them with their transition and made their start successful.

Pre-Candidate Workshop and Assessment Activities

In order to keep you on track to complete your degree in a timely manner, we are offering a Pre-Candidate Workshop as well as the writing assessment required for admission to all teacher certification programs. No registration fee is required. We provide this workshop opportunity to assist you in expediting your candidacy into the College of Education. Please plan to remain a little longer than the average program to complete the assessments and registration. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact Stephanie Koprowski-McGowan at 973-720-2206 or at koprowskis@wpunj.edu
