William Paterson University to Present The Comedy Improv Show on April 24

William Paterson students take the stage on Wednesday, April 24, for a comedy improv show. The performance will take place at 7 p.m. in the University’s Martini Room in Hobart Hall. Admission is free.

The Comedy Improv show is based on Comedy Sportz, a franchise of independently owned businesses licensed by World Comedy League, Inc. In this interactive performance, teams compete against each other to create the funniest, most clever improvs. The audience will suggest circumstances for the teams to act out. Teams are scored on how well they implement the suggestions of a panel of professional comedians and the audience. This show originates from Professor Elizabeth Stroppel’s class, Comedy: Improvisation in Performance.
