“The Kite Runner” to be Performed at William Paterson University on Tuesday, October 23

The American Place Theatre’s Literature to Life stage presentation of “The Kite Runner” will be performed at William Paterson University’s Shea Center for Performing Arts on Tuesday, October 23 at 12:30 and 7 p.m.

The performance, adapted from the best-selling novel, “The Kite Runner,” is a one-person play about the relationship between two boys set in Afghanistan. The play dramatically uncovers their story of betrayal and redemption throughout their lives.

The American Place Theatre’s Literature to Life program creates stage productions based on novels written by diverse writers to give the audience a new type of literature experience. This performance-based educational program has reached more than 400,000 students nationwide. This performance is appropriate for book clubs, students and avid readers.
