William Paterson University’s Musical Salon Series Presents a Beethoven Birthday Bash on December 16 A celebration marking the 242nd birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at William Paterson University. The event begins at 2 p.m. in the University’s Hobart Manor in Wayne as part of its “WP Presents!” Musical Salon Series. Tickets are available in advance or on the day of the performance at $15 general and $13 senior citizens and students. The birthday celebration for one of classical music’s most beloved composers will feature music performed on the piano, cello and clarinet. The performance will include Beethoven’s Waldstein piano sonata, among others. There will also be refreshments as a toast to Beethoven’s birthday.
