WILLIAM PATERSON UNIVERSITY TO HOST 2013 NEW JERSEY GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE ON OCTOBER 8

William Paterson University, in conjunction with media partners WCBS-TV and WCBS Newsradio 880 in New York; KYW-TV and KYW Newsradio 1060 in Philadelphia; The Record and its sister paper, The Herald News; and Gannett New Jersey newspapers, including the Asbury Park Press, Courier-News, The Courier-Post, Home News Tribune, Daily Record, and The Daily Journal, will present a 2013 New Jersey Gubernatorial Debate on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus in Wayne. Participating in the state Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC)-sanctioned debate will be candidates Chris Christie and Barbara Buono.
Credentials will be granted free of charge to journalists who are in possession of a valid, recognized press card. William Paterson University reserves the right to grant press credentials for this event. Please note, still photographs to be taken for a limited time prior to the start of the debate on the set in Shea Center will be limited to pool photographers who will be designated by the debate partners. Still and video photographers with credentials will have access to the candidates in a designated media room following the debate. Additional details will be provided closer to the event.
Media seating is limited. Applications for credentials are due by October 1, 2013.
