Media Guidelines and Application for 2017 Gubernatorial Debate at William Paterson University William Paterson University, along with its media partners, WCBS broadcast affiliates in New York and Philadelphia and The Record/USA Today Network, will host the second and final New Jersey gubernatorial election debate on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. Credentials will be granted free of charge to journalists who are in possession of a valid, recognized press card. William Paterson University reserves the right to grant press credentials for this event. Please note, still photographs to be taken for a limited time prior to the start of the debate on the set in Shea Center, will be limited to pool photographers who will be designated by the debate partners. Still and video photographers with credentials will have access to the candidates in a designated media room following the debate. Additional details will be provided closer to the event. Media seating is limited. Applications for credentials are due NO LATER than Monday, October 9, 2017. Applications will be accepted via the link below.
