
What: An interactive video teleconference presenting the plan for creating and developing VALE : a virtual academic library environment in New Jersey with partial funding from the Higher Education Technology Infrastructure Fund. Jointly sponsored by NJIN's Educational Activities Task Force and Library Committee to present VALE plans and initiatives.

How: The interactive teleconference will be broadcast live over satellite: Telstar 5 @ 97 degrees; Transponder K12 (Ku-band); downlink frequency 11.936 MHZ - Horizontal; audio 6.2/6.8 mono. If you are unable to downlink at your institution, you can receive the teleconference over your NJIN IDLS network from one of the following latawide sites: William Paterson University, Richard Stockton College, or Burlington County College. A signal test begins 30 minutes prior to the live broadcast, and technicians should check satellite receive equipment at that hour. Call Eric Kumala at 973-720-2744 for assistance with the test.
