The library offers workshops to help students, faculty and staff learn how to research, reference and access library resources from their office or home computer. Library workshops are available throughout the semester, both in the Library and at Valley Road. Dates, times, and location are listed below:

| From Vague Topic to Killer Questions: Using Library Resources to Design Successful, Manageable Research Projects The best student research is built around specific questions that can be used to manage all parts of a project, from data collection to analysis to organization of a final paper. This workshop will focus on the all-important process of moving from an initial research topic to the kind of research questions that make for feasible student projects. The workshop will use four common steps in this process to illustrate how library resources can help transform an initial topic into an effective and productive research question that will enable students to succeed in term project work.
