- The Philospher's Index provides indexing and abstracts from books and journals of philosophy and related fields. Please note that access to this database is restricted to currently enrolled students, faculty and staff.

- The American Philosophical Association
- The American Philosophical Association is the main professional organization for philosophers in the United States. Founded in 1900, its mission is to promote the exchange of ideas among philosophers, to encourage creative and scholarly activity in philosophy, to facilitate the professional work and teaching of philosophers, and to represent philosophy as a discipline.

- Center on Religion and Democracy
- The Center on Religion and Democracy web site provides access to this nonpartisan research center's library. The electronic documents are arranged by themes (social theory, historical texts, relgious texts and legal documents) and author and users may perform keyword searches. The library includes the works of authors such as Maciavelli, Calvin, Winthrop, Emerson and Douglass. Updated regularly, this site provides excellent information and links to related material.

- Dictionary of Philosophical Terms and Names
- More than 1,000 entries covering the terms and names undergraduates are likely to encounter when studying philsophy can be found at this site. Definitions are clear and concise and many biographical entries include portraits. Most entries include suggested readings, cross-references and links to other online sources.

- Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy
- Growing online encyclopedia maintained by a large team of university-affiliated editors. Articles in the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy are currently from three sources (1) original contributions by specialized philosophers around the internet, (2) adaptations of material written by the editors for classroom purposes, and (3) adaptations from public domain sources (typically from two or more sources for per article).

- The purpose of the site is to promote relgious tolerance and scholarship, and is a nonprofit archive of electronic texts devoted to religion, mythology, folklore, the occult and esoteric topics. The main categories are World Relgiions, Traditions and Mysteries and the site also includes a bibliography of complete books scanned into the archive.

- The Jewish Virtual Library (formerly the Jewish Student Online Research Center – JSOURCE) is the most comprehensive online Jewish encyclopedia in the world, covering everything from anti-Semitism to Zionism. So far, more than 8,000 articles and 3,000 photographs and maps have been integrated into the site.
