- IDEA is a joint project of the International Society for Education through Art (InSEA) and UNESCO. The website provides "international models of good practice in arts education" through sample lesson plans from around the world.

- Music Teachers National Association (MTNA)
- The Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the oldest professional music teachers association in the United States, promotes the appreciation of both music study and music making and the professionalism of music teachers. MTNA is comprised of 24,000 independent and collegiate music teachers of all instruments including voice.

- American Memory from the Library of Congress
- The historical collections for the National Digital Library are helpful for history teachers and this site lists an important historical event for each day (for example, on April 5 the National Park Service was established in 1916). A great resource for teachers to use in constructing a motivating question, "What happened today in history?"
