**Table Key

DVP: Liquid Crystal Display, which projects computer or video from the projector

OH: Overhead projector

VCR: Videocassette recorder or player which plays standard VHS tapes

VP: Video projector, which usually hangs from ceiling

LD: Laserdisk player

EXT: External data inputs, in case you bring a laptop

DC: Document camera, a vido camera at the lectern for projecting images from paper, slides, or small objects

PA: Sound reinforcement system Please note that smoking, eating, and drinking are prohibited at all times in multimedia equipped classrooms. Requesters are responsible for ensuring that this policy is rigidly enforced.

Preview Rooms

Media Services on the first floor of the Library includes individual viewing and listening carrels and a small group (6-8) previewing room. The following equipment is available for use: compact disc players, record players, dual audiocassette decks, VHS previewers, filmstrip and slide previewer, 3/4" player, 16mm projector, S8/8mm projector, and laserdisc player.

The preview rooms are open to all during the normal library hours.
