Country Studies/Area Handbook Series (Federal Research Division, Library of Congress)
This site contains all currently available titles in the Country Studies/Area Handbook Series originally produced in print by the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress (and sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Army). Each title "presents a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions" of a country or region. Time

The Official U.S. Time
Site sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the U. S. Naval Observatory provides clocks calibrated to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), a standard for world time. Java-based clocks represent the current time for every U.S./territorial time zone, accurate within one second.

Yearbooks

America's Children: Key National Indicators of Well-Being, 2000
Produced by the Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics, this report presents 23 key indicators of the well-being of children. The indicators are monitored through official Federal statistics covering children's economic security, health, behavior and social environment, and education. Eight key demographic measures and indicators on children's knowledge and skills at kindergarten entry and youth participation in volunteer activities are also included.

Immigration and Naturalization Service Statistical Yearbook
