Services for Macintosh

This page is a collection of Macintosh related items and news
related to University Macintosh Systems.

We are running 10.5.x on all systems.  OS 10.3.x is considered obsolete and is not supported on campus. 10.4.x is given limited support. PPC machines are being phased out.

Each OS has the following installed by default:

MS Office 2008
Flip4Mac Windows Media Quicktime Plug-in
Quicktime Player
VLC (Media player)
Safari(Web Browser)
Firefox (Mozilla Based Web Browser)
Acrobat Reader (In addition the OS natively handles and creates PDF files)
CyberDuck (FTP Client)
iChat
