Are some of the courses for which you are registered
missing from your Bb site?
Bb will not carry all of the courses for which you are registered. The only courses you'll
see on your Bb site are those which are actively using the course management tool. Faculty
using Bb will activate their course shells and students will see and be able to participate
in them; faculty not using Bb will not activate their course shells and they will remain
invisible to all students. Finally, if a faculty member directs you to Bb but you still
can't see the shell, please ask professor professor to activate the course on Bb.

Are you a Distance Education student who doesn't know where to start?
Most distance education courses at WPUNJ use the Blackboard Course Management tool,
and professors will usually give introductory instructions you can find by clicking this link to the
Welcome Letters page. If you can't find a welcome letter for your course,
or if you still have questions, you can email your professor; use this link to look up
Faculty Email addresses.

|
Are you pointing your web browser to the accurate Bb web site?
The correct URL for Blackboard at WPUNJ is:
http://bb.wpunj.edu -- there is no WWW in the address, and do not need to go to the
university site first. You can also log into the
WPConnect Portal first, and
then use the Bb tab. The tab should take you to the helpful Blackboard Introduction page, from which you
can access Bb directly by clicking the Login button in the upper left.
|
|
When using WPConnect to you get the "keep your files confidential" message
when you click on the Bb tab?
If clicking the Bb tab from your WPConnect site does not bring you to the
Bb intro page but generates the "confidential files" message, just press and hold down the Control
button on your keyboard at the same time you are clicking on the Bb tab.

Bb Help Desk. Please be as specific as possible when
describing your problem. The Bb Help Desk is staffed 12 hours a day during the week and is monitored
over the weekends and holidays.
