Bb is a robust and accessible course management system through which
we can mount and conduct our courses online, enriching teaching, learning
and communication. When engaged in any kind of online coursework
one should bear certain things in mind:
Advisory
- There is always a risk of technical problems (e.g. network and server problems,
software bugs, etc.) in delivering courses online.
-
It is the instructors responsibility to create, post, and maintain copies of
all materials pertinent to courses hosted on Blackboard. The Academic Technology
staff of Instruction & Research Technology is unable to archive all courses for
posterity.
-
Posting copyrighted materials without authorized permission may have ethical,
legal and professional ramifications for both the professor and the university.
Using electronic reserves through the library is recommended.
-
Team Bb@WPUNJ.edu does not recommend using the Gradebook feature of any course
as the ONLY means of keeping track of students' grades. In addition, please note
that students are unable to see letter grades posted by the Instructor due to a
glitch in the software (Blackboard is working on this).
-
At the end of each semester the instructor agrees to archive and recycle their
course with the instructions or help given to them by Team Bb@WPUNJ.edu in the
time frame designated.
