Blackboard divides content into categories including Syllabus, Documents, Assignments, and Links. On the Create/Edit Content Buttons page we covered created and altering the buttons that appear on your Bb course page. This page will deal with adding material to the standard content areas.

Bb can display many digital files, including: MS Word, MS Excel, HTML, PowerPoint, and graphics. For help creating the files please consult the Faculty Technology Curriculum to participate in workshops conducted by the instructional technology professionals of IRT.

To create content on Bb first get online and access Bb, then enter your course. Click into the Control Panel and see the Content Areas box in the upper left:

Click on the links to the right to obtain help creating and editing content.
