Extending Student Roles: NCHE '97 Workshop, 3.15.97

On March 15 seven schools gathered at the American Association for Higher Education annual conference to showcase the student technology assistant programs at our respective institutions. Most institutions sent some representative students as well as program administrators. Each program accompanied their talk with a graphic presentation, and links to the presentations are supplied below. Some presentations are done in Web format [w3] and some are in Powerpoint [pp]. Presentations from all the schools will soon be posted to this site.

Three more Powerpoint presentations on William Paterson University's experience employing students to resolve the support crisis come to us courtesy of Phillip Long and Robert Harris:

    TLT Group
The TLT Group , the Teaching, Learning and Technology Affiliate of the American Association for Higher Education, is working to learning about and assist Student Technology Assistant programs. This is part of its larger goal to help hundreds of colleges and universities create more effective, larger scale improvements in teaching and learning through their uses of technology. Visit their Web site to learn about the workshops and other resources they offer. Two particularly relevant themes: their Teaching, Learning, and Technology Roundtable Program and their Flashlight Project (evaluation measures).
