REQUIREMENTS

Requirements: (1) attendance:3 absences constitutes failure; (2) reading to learn and understand; (3) class participation in discussions of criticism and literature; (4) a series of essays, between 4 to 6; (5) at the end of the term, a disc and/or an e-mail, containing your work, must be submitted with all work; this will be accompanied with a critical-analytical-reflective letter.

The essays will consist of your application of theory to literary text. The Final Critical-Analytical-Reflective Essay will describe your ups and downs during the semester, suggest, with annotations from your own work, how you've overcome--or not--some of these obstacles and then argue for the grade you believe earned. Essentialy, this final essay describes your accomplishments, your reflections and you commitment to yourself as a learner.
