Guidelines for Conclusions

  1. Remind the reader that you have achieved what you set out to achieve.
  2. Show how you topic can be applied.
  3. Summerize you main points
  4. Make the conclusion an important part of your essay.
  5. DO NOT:
    1. start a new topic
    2. contradict yourself
    3. apologize
    4. end suddenly
    5. draw absolute conclusions
    6. talk about you essay (so my conclusion is...)
