In an effort to strengthen professional resources, the Institute for Creative Aging (ICA) provides training and resources to better serve older adults and their families. Over the years, the ICA has sponsored major conferences, including “ Medicare: A Web of Confusion” and “ The Good Death: Does it Exist?” These conferences offer professional development and promote collaboration among community agencies, higher education facilities, business organizations, and the public.

The ICA serves as a downsite for the Hospice Foundation of America's annual teleconferences.

To order a video from a previous conference or any other ICA event, visit Professional Resources.

The Professional Breakfast Roundtable series brings together professionals from different fields for the networking and discussion of topics relevant to older adults. Roundtables are bimonthly and continuing education credits (CEUs) are available.

Previous topics include:

  • Drug Therapy for Older Adults
  • Legal and Ethical Issues of Competency in Older Adults
