Ideas needed for Honors service projects
Our Honors Club demonstrated commitment to service this year with a coat drive organized by Michael Blizzard, funds raised for cancer research during our talent show, and a a media drive for troops in Iraq and/or military hospitals which was organized by Jessica Pepe. Anyone with ideas for service projects for the 2007-08 academic year should email suggestions to Susan Dinan at dinans@wpunj.edu, or click here for currently running/proposed opportunities.

Study Abroad and the National Student Exchange Program
The National Collegiate Honors Council sponsors Honors Semesters that feature experiential learning through a combination of interrelated courses integrated by their focus on the setting of each specific project. Honors Semesters are offered regularly to allow honors students from throughout the United States to gather for learning experiences away from their own campus. NCHC semesters offer a full load of transferable college credit and combine field studies, research, internships, seminars and a carefully planned living-learning environment that fully exploits the resources of the semester’s locale. Past Honors Semesters have been offered in Rome, Washington D.C., the Grand Canyon, the Maine Coast, Puerto Rico and Morocco. For more information, please see www.nchchonors.org/
