Honors Residential Communities

Two new residence halls opened last fall and each has a community for students in the University Honors College. High Mountain East serves the needs of all First Year students who receive University scholarships and live on campus. Students selected for the University Honors College share a pod in this dormitory, which is a group of double rooms organized around a private lounge.

High Mountain West features a Living and Learning
Community for all interested upper division students. This is a cooperative space that Honors faculty visit for casual conversations and/or to show films and moderate discussions. This community facilitates student exploration with field trips to nearby cities and regions, and provides opportunities to participate in national conferences and meetings. Along with the academic experiences, we have created a community draws students out to enjoy the social experiences that college has to offer.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact
Dr. Dinan at dinans@wpunj.edu or Rebecca Fegeley, 973.720.5269 or fegeleyr@wpunj.edu.
