NJ World Trade Center Scholarship
The WTC scholarship benefits dependent children and surviving spouses of New Jersey residents who were killed or died as a result of injuries sustained by the terrorist attacks against the U.S. on September 11, 2001. The award also benefits the dependents of those who died as a result of illness caused by exposure to the attack sites. Students are required to apply annually. Applications are available at www.njgrants.org or call HESAA Customer Care Center at 609-584-4480 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. The applicant must also provide the requested documentation to confirm their eligibility.
Recipients may attend an eligible post-secondary school in New Jersey or may also attend on out-of -state institution of higher learning. You must be a full time undergraduate student. The amount of the scholarship is determined annually by the Board of the World Trade Center Scholarship Fund. Additional information may be found on the HESAA website.
