Hands On Training Programs

In the coming decades, technology (bio-technology, information technology, nano-technology, environmental technology, etc.) will change our lives. It has changed the way we shop, bank, communicate, search information, find a spouse, etc. The World Economic Forum with Gallup interviewed 50,000 citizens in 68 countries and asked them “What is the most important global challenge that business must adapt to?” The top answer is “advance of technology (40%)”. Students who want to be successful should spend time considering the advances and impacts of technology.

The Global Financial Services Institute has a “Think Technology” focus in its mission. We have developed hands-on training programs to increase participants’ awareness and understanding of technology. After successfully offering five training programs since 2007, we plan to offer Winter 2010 Hands-on Science Training (Biology) Program and Winter 2010 Hands-on Science Training (Computer Science) Program from February 18 to March 10, 2010.
