Training and Workshops

Equal opportunity/ affirmative action and diversity training workshops.

Because of recent developments in equal opportunity, affirmative action and discrimination laws, regulations and policies, it is essential that employees, especially managers, receive training. As a result, workshops on equal opportunity and affirmative action will be continually given throughout the year. The workshops are designed to provide a basic understanding of equal opportunity and affirmative action concepts, laws and the application of the College’s policies to assure compliance and to encourage respect for individual differences. The workshops are ongoing and are updated yearly. Because the laws of equal opportunity and affirmative action are constantly changing, it is highly recommended that every employee attend these workshops every two (2) years.
