Physics, the most fundamental physical science, is the study of the basic interactions that govern the behavior of the material universe as we know it.  It is the foundation upon which the other sciences are based and it is important in any well-balanced curriculum for the non-scientist as well. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to providing a student-centered educational environment.  Students are strongly encouraged to participate in faculty-supervised research projects.

The Physics Department offers a minor in physics and an interdisciplinary program in pre-engineering.
