The faculty in the Physics Department do experimental and theoretical research, primarily in the fields of atomic and nuclear physics, and condensed matter. We collaborate with physicists all over the world and are involved in the community at large.
We are dedicated to high-quality teaching ( we offer a physics minor, pre-engineering program); our small-size classes, hands-on laboratories, and individual student research projects provide our students with excellent problem-solving skills. We are committed to student success.
