MISSION

The mission of the College of Science and Health
is threefold:
to provide undergraduate students with a sound foundation in mathematics, science, and the application of this knowledge, which will equip them either to enter their chosen profession or pursue advanced studies.
to provide graduate students with advanced knowledge and experience in their field of specialization which will allow them to move to the forefront of their profession.
to reach out to the community and provide services that fulfill the needs of the general population.

VISION STATEMENT
In the twenty-first century, the College of Science and Health will be a model Learning Center for all who are part of it.  High quality academic programs will challenge our students to explore their potential in an expanding world of knowledge and opportunity. Faculty will continue to pursue academic excellence both in the classroom and outside of it, and will use innovative methods to inspire students to set high goals for themselves.  The College’s environment will be one that combines a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere for all, with state-of-the-art technology and support services.  Faculty and student members of the College will reach out to the community to provide expert professional services to local and regional institutions.
