GRADUATE DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 48 credits of graduate course work. No more than 6 practicum credits may count toward the 48-credit minimum.
  • A minimum of 375 hours of clinical practicum in addition to 25 hours of supervised observation. At least 325 hours must be completed at the graduate level .
  • Completion of a thesis as part of the research courses and seminars.
  • Satisfactory completion of a comprehensive examination.
  • For students without any undergraduate preparation in communication disorders: completion of prerequisite courses.
  • For students with an undergraduate degree in communication disorders: completion of any of the prerequisite courses that were not part of their undergraduate preparation. Decision will be made during advisement.
