4th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
in the Biological & Chemical Sciences at William Paterson University

This event provides an excellent forum for presentation of research findings by undergraduate students enrolled in colleges and universities in the Mid-Atlantic area.

The format of this year’s meeting will include morning and afternoon poster sessions, a keynote address by an invited speaker, lunch, and an awards ceremony. Posters will be judged by a panel of attending mentors and 1 st and 2 ndplace awards will be presented to the top undergraduate poster presenters in the following seven categories: 1) Biochemistry, 2) Physiology, 3) Cell & Molecular Biology, 4) Genetics, 5) Ecology & Evolution 6) Nanochemistry and 7) General & Material Chemistry. In addition, three names will be drawn from the 1 st place awards to receive an iPod at the conclusion of the awards ceremony.

Participant abstracts will be published in Symposium Proceedings.
