Diana M. Judd received her Bachelors Degree in Russian Regional Studies from Columbia College at Columbia University, and her Ph.D. in Political Science from Rutgers University. She began teaching at William Paterson in 2006. Her areas of specialization include political philosophy and theory, American political thought, and international relations. Her research interests center around the intersection of religion, politics, and natural science from the early modern era to contemporary politics.
Professor Judd is the author of several articles and book reviews, and her book, Questioning Authority: Political Resistance and the Ethic of Natural Science, is forthcoming with Transaction Publishers. She serves as section chair of Modern Political Theory for the Northeastern Political Science Association. Her undergraduate courses at William Paterson include Ancient and Medieval Political Theory, Modern Political Theory, and Science and Politics, and her graduate courses include Critical Theory and Public Policy, and Science, Social Change and International Affairs.
