SUGGESTED SEQUENCE OF COURSES

128 credits minimum for graduation

If you wish to complete your undergraduate studies (128 credits) in eight regular semesters, you will have to take more than 15 credits in 2-4 semesters or plan to attend Summer I and/or II sessions.

For students with extensive responsibilities, a maximum of 15 credits per semester is recommended and attenting Summer I and/or Summer II sessions.

Successful completion of Basic Skills, Writing Effective Prose, pre-requisities and entry-level General Education courses offered by the Department or all the General Education courses required in the area are necessary before registering for General Education electives. General Education electives must be outside the major and collateral requirements.

Amitted 9/83-1/86: 1 semester of Western Civilization only, no upper-level electives, no non-Western requirement. Placement credit, CLEP credit and challenge credit may be used to fulfill GE requirements.

Students required to complete Basic Skills courses will enroll in these courses for their first semester. Placement in writing, reading, and math courses is based on State mandated New Jersey Basic Skills test.
