There is no textbook. The above books are to be read in their entirety and will be discussed on the indicated day. It is your responsibility to pace yourself so that you can complete the readings on time.
 
Determination of Grade:
Takehome midterm -- 1/2
Final exam -- 1/2
Attendance will be taken every day. Regular attendance & serious participation in class discussion will raise your grade if it is on the borderline.
