SUGGESTED SEQUENCE OF COURSES
129 credits minimum for graduation
No more than six courses (18 credits) may be taken in any single geographical
area (the United States, Europe, or nonwestern)
If you wish to complete your undergraduate studies (129 credits) in eight
regular semesters, you will have to take more than 15 credits in 2-4 semesters
or plan to attend Summer I and/or II sessions.
For students with extensive responsibilities, a maximum of 15 credits
per semester is recommended along with attending Summer I and/or Summer
II sessions if necessary.
Successful completion of Basic Skills, Writing Effective Prose, prerequisites
and entry-level General Education courses offered by the Department or
all the General Education courses required in the area are necessary before
registering for General Education electives. General Education electives
must be outside the major and collateral requirements.
Students required to complete Basic Skills courses will enroll in these
courses for their first semester. Placement in writing, reading, and math
courses is based on State mandated New Jersey Basic Skills test.
