The conference, "Globalization with a Human Face" will examine current understandings and perceptions about globalization among policy makers, scholars and the American public. The conference will consider the broad topics of governance, sustainable development and social justice, and how the American public can be educated to understand the interconnection between U.S. interests and the interests of the entire world. What is the role of the academy and educators in promoting equitable development for the U.S. and the rest of the world?
