Ryan J. Rebe joined the Political Science faculty at William Paterson University in September, 2013. He has been a licensed attorney since 2002, and was formerly a private practitioner in criminal law at the trial and appellate levels. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (1999), his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center (2002), and his Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas Tech University (2013).
Professor Rebe has published in several peer-reviewed Political Science journals. His research and teaching interests are legal studies, judicial politics and American government. His recent course offerings include: First Amendment, Equal Protection, International Law, Comparative Criminal Law, Administrative Law, Law in Everyday Life and Judicial Politics. Professor Rebe currently serves as the advisor for the Law Society, LSAT Study Group, and SGA Judicial Review Board.
