MISSION

The mission of the French and Francophone Studies (FFS) Minor is to develop in its students, oral and written proficiency in French, cultural awareness of the multifaceted Francophone world, and to provide academic training for careers involving the French language, and Francophone literatures and cultures. Focusing on the diversity of the French-speaking world, the FFS Minor is particularly recommended for students interested in teaching or in pursuing careers in international fields such as communications, economics and finance, government, politics, law, or translation.
