Associate Professor Dewar MacLeod earned his B.A. from Eugene Lang College at the New School and his Ph.D. from the City University of New York Graduate Center. He teaches courses in the history of popular culture, rock’n’roll, childhood, suburbia, and U.S. foreign policy.
His book Kids of the Black Hole: Punk Rock in Postsuburban California was published in 2010 by Oklahoma University Press.
