There are two program options:

M.Ed. in Special Education: Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement
Total: 36 Credits

Spring 1 (16 weeks - 6 credits):
SPC 555 Ed. Foundations in a Diverse Society;                                                           SPC 560 Understanding School Based Assessment of Diverse Learners

Summer 1 (9 credits)
SPC 564 Managing Challenging Behaviors;                                                               SPC 566 Assistive Technology;                                                                                  SPC 570 Language, Literacy and Learning in a Diverse Society

Fall 1 (TRP Sem 1-16 weeks - 6 credits)
SPC 582 The University Designed Inclusive Classroom;                                            SPED 629 Current Issues and Trends in Special Education

Winter 2 (2 weeks - 3 credits)                                                                                     SPC 580 Collaboration with School, Home, and Community

Spring 2 (TRP Sem 2-16 weeks - 6 credits)
SPED 632 Research 1;                                                                                           Special Ed Elective* 600 level course (choose an area of special education that interests you: Literacy, English, Math, History, Science, Developmental disabilities)
