Admission to the Degree Program

Teacher of Students with Disabilities Concentration Program

The requirements for admission are:

1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;

2. A cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.00 scale;

3. Completion of the WPU 22 credit Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate or Alternative Route TSD Program;

4. Two letters of reference from professional sources

5. A minimum total score of 150 on Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or a minimum of 388 on the Miller Analogies Test.

Requirements for the Degree*

1.The completion of a minimum of 37credits for the Teacher of Students with Disabilities Concentration.

2.The completion of a research thesis

* Candidates must consult with their faculty advisor before selecting courses in the event that changes have been made in the program or its course offerings.
