Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant Graduate Endorsement
This endorsement program is designed for experienced classroom teachers who hold a teaching certificate and an accredited master's degree. Upon successful completion of the required curriculum, the candidate is eligible for the New Jersey certificate as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C). This certification is not a teaching certification, but a certificate to serve as the LDT-C on the child study team in New Jersey schools. Upon successful completion of the required curriculum and documented three years of teaching experience, the candidate is eligible for the New Jersey certificate as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant (LDT-C).

| Entry Requirements |
- Masters degree from an accredited college
- Standard NJ Teacher's Certificate
- Maintance of a 3.0 GPA

*SPED 5420 is the pre-requisite for SPED 5430 **SPED 5430 is the pre-requisite for SPED 6440 ***SPED 6570 course is taken at a designated location with a 100-hour supervised clinical experience. Pre-requisites are a total of 24 specialized credits. Credit is for P or F only.
The N.J.A.C. 6A:9-13.10 requires three years of successful teaching before an endorsement is issued.
