Reading Clinic
The Reading Clinic at William Paterson University offers comprehensive tutoring for K-12 students by certified teachers. The clinic offers remediation and enrichment services.  Various assessments are used to diagnose and evaluate a range of literacy skills including reading comprehension, sight word vocabulary, and phonological awareness. Teachers use ongoing assessment to identify each child’s specific needs and develop an individualized instructional plan for each tutoring session.  The clinic follows the university calendar.  All tutoring sessions are supervised by university faculty.
