Entry Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accepted college or university.
- Undergraduate cumulative G.P.A. of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
- Completion of appropriate academic major in liberal arts or science or a minimum of 60 credits in Liberal Arts.
- Minimum of 15 credits of coursework in the Middle School Content Area.
- A minimal verbal score of 150 on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), or a minimum score of 388 on the Miller Analogies Test.
- Two letters of recommendation from an education, professional or business source.
- An essay that requires the candidate to describe her/his reasons for wishing to complete the program.
- An interview with the Program Director.
Requirements prior to completion of Phase I:
- Completion developmental or child psychology
- Completion of physiology and hygiene requirement.
- Completion of a course in adolescent psychology.
- You must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA throughout the program
- Passing score on the appropriate PRAXIS II exam(s) prior to student teaching:
