CS 215 Proficiency Examination is required of students who enrolled in the University prior to Fall 2011.

The CS 215 (Computer and Information Technology for Educators) Proficiency Examination is for education majors who want to exempt from taking CS 215.

The passing of the CS 215 Proficiency Examination will exempt an education major in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education from taking CS 215 but the student will not get any course credit.

No fee is required for taking the CS 215 Proficiency Examination.

The examination schedule is listed in the following table. A student can take the proficiency examination twice but if he/she failed both times, then the student must take the CS 215 course. Please contact your advisor for course advisement.

Please contact Carol Parken via email (ParkenC@wpunj.edu), by phone at 973-720-2649, or in person in Coach House 120, to sign up for the examination (leave your name, phone number, and the date you want to take the examination).
