"Business Tutoring Services"
|
The purpose
of the Business Tutorial Lab is to provide assistance to students
and to help them better understand business concepts and bodies
of knowledge by clarifying instructors' lectures, textbook
and outside readings, and other assignments including papers
and problem sets. Tutorial assistance is provided in accounting,
business law, management, marketing, finance, business statistics
and economics. Topics vary periodically based on demand. |
| Tutors
are chosen based on their familiarity and expertise in the
topical areas. Tutors are prepared to work with students on
either a one-to-one or small group session in an informal,
friendly and confidential environment. A
schedule of operating hours in the different disciplines
may be obtained here
or by calling the Dean's office (973-720-2964) or the appropriate
department chairperson. Schedules are also posted
at the beginning of each semester. |
