The Global Financial Services Institute provides research support to faculty, staff and visiting professors using the GFSI Financial Center’s vast resources.

The Institute encourages and funds original research supporting the Institute’s mission.  We plan to launch an applied research journal in financial services and set up monetary and non-monetary rewards for outstanding researchers/projects.

Scholarship of teaching and learning.

The scholarship of teaching and learning is an act of intelligence that is made public, thus is subject to peer review, resulting in work that others can use and build upon. This form of scholarship aims to systematically deepen and broaden our understanding of teaching and learning. To ensure student success at William Paterson University, GFSI will actively promote and engage in this type of scholarship. The Institute plays a leading role to bring the scholarship of teaching and learning programs into the WPU community.
